ELECTION DAY - Polls are OPEN from 10AM - 8PM
I love this city. I love Scarborough. This is a beautiful part of Toronto with so much to offer; cozy neighborhoods where you can raise a family, friendly neighbours, and vibrant cultural events. We live in the largest Ward in the city within the communities of Brookside, Hillside, Malvern, Morningside Heights, Rougeville and White Haven.
Toronto is a world-class city. The citizens of Toronto have worked hard to make this city one of the best in the world. We will have to work even harder just to maintain what we have accomplished and grow. Toronto's citizens want their children to inherit a dynamic city which will be the envy of the world. To achieve this, we have to work smarter and better and be more efficient. When we work together it can become even better.
I am running for city council to strengthen my community and my city. I strongly believe that this ward needs a change in direction and a change in leadership is critical in making the voices of the community being heard. I want to be the voice out there on issues the residents face on a day to day basis. I want the ward to grow in a direction that enables its residents to enjoy living and working here. I am someone with experience in the non-profit sector on a national level. I have worked in social justice and in human capital areas in the past. My priorities are ensuring that Ward 42 sustains its neighbourhoods by linking good jobs via Community Benefit Agreements, lobbying for efficient transit system, advocating for equitable social justice issues and connecting this vibrant Ward with the rest of the city.
Help me keep Toronto strong, join me in making Toronto better for everyone.
